The G.O.A.D. Love Box is an outreach effort that was started by our former Outreach Chair, Patricia McCullough and current President, Pat Nabinett. This tradition of sending pampering products ordered from The Body Shop to deserving individuals who have endured unexpected hurdles in their lives or to acknowledge people who unselfishly perform acts of kindness in their every day lives are the individuals that we would like to celebrate. The Love Boxes are distributed quarterly with special distributions for Mother's and Father's Day; Breast Cancer and Domestic Violence Month; and Valentine's Day.
Our primary method for identifying Love Box recipients are from G.O.A.D. members or from referrals who knows about our mission. We are happy that the response from this project continues to be extremely favorable and we are excited to be in our 3rd year of distributing love boxes.

Let us continue to pray for all who are currently fighting or have survived this disease that has affected so many.
For Christmas, we had planned to send out 8 Love Boxes for the holidays. However, only 2 recipients were identified. Shatrina Freeman was sent a Love Box to use as she recuperates. In addition Kelly Brown will be sent a Love Box at a time that is more convenient for her.
Sending Love Boxes to individuals in the DMV are in tune with our outreach efforts to attempt to brighten someone's day at a time when a box filled with pampering products may be needed most.
Email us at email@example.com to identify individuals who deserve a Love Box. Please include their name and why you feel that they deserve to be gifted a Love Box. If they are selected, we will follow up with you to obtain their mailing address.
